Thirty Thousand Feet of Film is the creation of Melbourne photographer, Kenneth Warmington. Kenneth launched his career at the early age of 16 as a photographer for "Sault This Week", a weekly newspaper in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. In 1990 Kenneth moved to Montreal and attended Dawson Instutute of Photography. He opened his first studio "Quantum Images" in 1991 along with Joseph Porto. Together they teamed up and specialised in shooting B&W portraits with Kodak Technical Pan film. The acceptional detail, smooth tones and dynamic range of these portraits have be given the tream the recognition of being among the best in Canada. Today, Ken is currently based in Melbourne, Australia and continues to specialise in photographing portraits, glamour, fashion, band and events.
